The impact of the SARS-COV2 pandemic has marked humanity and science in two aspects: the rapid transmission and mutation of the virus and the changes in workplace safety routines. Because it is a dynamic pandemic, there are still no well-defined clinical protocols, and biosafety recommendations in dentistry are constantly being improved. The goal of this work is to provide an integrative review of changes in the dental work process regarding post-COVID-19 biosafety through the search for articles in the literature as well as legal publications and professional council guidelines. In conclusion, changes in biosafety processes must be adopted by dentists with the main goal of avoiding the spread of infection and ensuring the prevention of the work team’s contamination by the new coronavirus.
